Plant id please!

Hello everybody

My neighbour gave me a plant out of his garden that is quite interesting. He's not sure what it is and neither am I?

Could anyone enlighten us?!

Can you post another pic with leaves as that would help and see if the flowers stay as they are or open up.

I agree DD - oxalis and the seeds pinging everywhere are something to be wary of when deciding if and where you are going to plant it Elmarto.

The purple one is sometimes offered for sale as an alpine. Guess you only ever have to buy it once 

Thanks for the replies, it's definitely oxalis, purple one! I have seen that it is a house plant, I have put it in the bed in the front garden will see how it goes!

I'm guessing it's a bit if a thug, I did let rose bay willow herb thing flower so it has competition!
