San Marzano Problem..... or not...

Morning All,

This is the second year, that my San Mazano plant arent climbing up the canes, but rather growing really thick, and getting very large and bushy.

I thought they were indeterminate, yet they just seem to get really thick, and low to the ground?

Any one else had any luck with these climbing?

Mine are growing as cordons ok.  Could you have fed them too much so they have grown leaf rather than stalk?
