I put a couple of leftover seeds in these flower buckets and continued to earth up but they have gone mad!

Anything extra I can do to get a crop??

just keep 'em properly watered!

(Best to use multi-purpose compost with just a very scant addition of chicken poo - good yield and by not  including soil, really clean and un-pested potatoes)

When the foliage dies down naturally, let it do so then shift the whole bucket(s) into somewhere dry and allow it to sit there drying out.   Come a few days before the winter festival thingie, knock the pots out and see whether you have enough to do for the roasties.

I'd give them another 4-6 weeks then tip them out.  You should get some lovely new potatoes.  Any feed should be low nitrogen like a tomato fertiliser.  Remember to keep the compost moist, not too wet and not too dry.
