Tomato cuttings
« on: May 21, 2015, 14:31 »
Fellow Gardeners,

I have received some tomato cuttings through the post. They looked a bit forlorn but I popped them into some pots and they seem to have survived. Some of them have dead leaves hanging on by a thread or slightly discoloured leaves. Should I cut these off with scissors or is there a risk of creating infections?

I leave the dodgy leaves to dry out a bit, then they seem to snap off cleanly, rather than cut them off while they're sappy.
