Can anyone identify this fungi?

This has started growing in my planter amongst my strawberries.

Should I touch it, or remove with gloves on?

When weeding, the best way to know if its a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull it.

If it comes out easy, it was a valuable plant !

I've just had a look in my little book of British wildlife but can't identify it. To be on the safe side, best to remove it with gloves on.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.
