I bought some leeks from the garden centre since the ones I sowed all died!  I was going to sow these after lifting my early spuds, but doubt they will last that long in these small polystyrene trays.  There are also two leeks in each cell.  Should I transplant these to bigger pots, or should I actually be looking to put them in the ground now?

If they need to wait anyway, I'd put them into bigger pots

I'd pot them on together in large deep pots, then plant out after they've thickened up.

Or, you could put them in a nursery row somewhere on your plot to grow on.

Nice video. I've left small leeks to get quite pot bound and found they caught up ok.

I always pot on my leeks when they past the "crook" stage and they go into a 6" pot, about 9 per pot, then they get some foliar feed just before planting out.
