That is a bit 'hey wow!' isnt it!  Inspiring.  I have an old rose arch somewhere ....  I wonder?

My squash frames are short - 3.5m ish -  fences of sheep netting on posts (recycled from a fence that was being demolished).  Not things of beauty but I can get 3 squashes/ridge cucs up each run, on a very very manured bed, covered with weed fabric, and with 2 bush courgettes/marrows between each fence.  Needs a lot of water and a lot of organic matter to get that cropping density, but the bees adore it and there is never any problem with pollination.  Hate to think what some of the seeds would produce tho'!   :D

I love it, how great is that for air circulation and away from the slugs.

I'm sure I've posted this before, you don't need to understand Italian to look at the Tromba d'Albenga squash as it grows over the pergola frame (from about 1.30 mins)

Next time I'm down the allotments I'll take a photo of the tunnel frame just like that the Chinese team (4 of them share a plot)  have got going.  They grow these massive summer squash things, 3 or 4ft long!- I got given half a one (all 2 ft of it), but tasted just like a big courgette in the end.....

These are fab!

Yes photos please, of any contraptions would be so helpful.  I have pallets and an old wooden ladder, but I am clueless.

We are going to try a pallet simple version just to give us more room to grow. Always on the look out for new ideas not really vertical gardening as angled gardening.

We have visited Barrington court in Somerset where they grow squashes over arbours in the garden just like the photo above. I will be trying this year to grow them the same way.
