Incubation turning???
« on: April 12, 2015, 17:05 »
Hello all, bad news on the first attempt at hatching I had 24 eggs with zero hatch, 😢 however I'm learning everyday! I believe it was an old batch of eggs someone sold me plus I have learnt the seasons have a say on the eggs! This time the incubator has been set up and running and temp is set and humidity fine! Enough of the rambling.....

My question is I have a Brinsea Eco with a added "cradle/rocker" which means my incubator rotates, about 1 cycle every 2/3 hours, I know this maybe a daft question but do I need to rotate the eggs around? What's best way to do this? Or is this actually doing the work? I'm just trying to eradicate any thing I may have done wrong?

Thanks for any advice....

Let the incubator do the job. The more you interfere with opening the incubator the more the temperature and humidity get affected! Good luck  :)
Experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted!!
