Muscovy cull
« on: March 29, 2015, 20:21 »
Hey guys I'm going to cull my extra Muscovy drakes and I'm going to dip them in hot water to remove the feathers I heard some people say to put soap in to help loosen the feathers and make it a cleaner easier process can anyone recommend this, does it not taint the meat or am I safer just use water
Thank dan

not sure with ducks but with chickens dry plucking is better and if done when warm the feathers come out easy enough.
Staffies are softer than you think.
