Self-fertile, Rich, but it's a space question to me. It's got only planted last winter, so I'm well pleased it made it through this season we had, really.

If you have room , the two plant stuff is hardier. :wink:  8)

Yes. So you might as well just wait till I report complete failure or not next season. As nobody else seems to be answering as yet, though thousands of people out there, I'm sure someone is growing kiwis. :lol:

ive just got a £2.99 kiwi fruit tree/bush thanks to wellys post.

            i havnt planted it yet ,so cant answer about growing it ,at that price its worth a go

Try your local Woollies - I was sorely tempted by a Muscat grape vine for about £4. They had Kiwi's too.
Growing salad leaves isn't rocket science.

Are they named, or does it say they were self-fertile(kiwis), because if they are, they should romp away faster than a virtual as yet cutting.

Just been down to Woolworths, and the kiwis are a variety called Jenny, which I seem to remember from a previous post is self pollinating.

Got my grape vine too. Don't know where to put it or what SWMBO will say. She may well come up with some suggestions!!!
