It seems my choice of Charlotte for SE is a good one with the majority of you also growing them fingers crossed they work for me. So this is my list,

FE Winston - fellow allotmenteer had fantastic results with them last year so thought I would try them.
SE Charlotte - I don't think I have grown these before.
MC King Edwards - have grown these before, not brilliant results but thought I would give them another go.

I might still get some Desiree as I really like them and feel like I have missed out if I don't grow them.

carolus are the new blight resistant from t&m from a dutch breeder, supposed to be waxy so full report in the autumn 
sarpo are too starchy for me which is a crying shame considering they are nearly blight proof.

Nice selection. Are you sure you haven't got any room for first earlies? I find they keep me from picking the second earlies before they're really ready!

Our's are already in, we missed the planting week (according to local law) because of the weather. A friend brought some out and we have five varieties to try.

1) Very early Louisiana
2)first early Aran Pilot
3)First/second early Maris bard
4)Second early Nadine
5) Main crop Sarpo Mira

Be interesting to see what happens. Locally we can get white or red,  sold in boxes with long white shoots, though you can send away for other varieties if you can translate the catalogues...always interesting
