I found a local supplier of Clover compost last year and it was more expensive, but very good indeed and plants did very well.  I have just bought this year's supply, 2 75 litre bags for £10.

I have used B & Q Verve in the past and that was fine, but I prefer the Clover.   I have tried Wickes in the past, they were very good, then bad and I haven't gone back.  Lidl's was dreadful to look at and feel, and nothing grew.

Wyvale have 3 x 50L OF J Arthur Bowers multi purpose for £12.
Quality seems good to me but I noticed that the bag is 50Ltrs whilst it was 56 Ltrs last year!
Another shrinking product I reckon.

Cheers HH

Just got three 25 litre bags of Been+Queued Verve and, apart from it being on offer and got it on a Wednesday  at a discount, it is as I would expect compost to be. Only used half a bag but virtually no "rubbish" stuff in it.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

Still Think Jacks Magic is the best around. Not the cheapest, just good value for money.

I bit the bullet and got 2 x 125 litre bags of Verve MPC from B&Q yesterday.

I was very impressed with the quality - fine, dark, crumbly. No coke cans or plastic which I expected to find having read some reviews!
