Frozen seed potatoes
« on: January 18, 2015, 18:27 »
Not only did Thompson and Morgan dispatch my seed potatoes in freezing weather conditions but they used the carrier Hermes who ignored all instructions to leave the parcel with a neighbour if I was out and left them in the garden where they sat for 2 days whilst I was in London

Not good at all grubby paws. Are they beyond use? Ask for a refund from T&M.
I and a fellow plot holder 'rescued' a delivery of seed potatoes destined for the lottie trading hut. They would have been left outside the hut in the pouring rain and cold wind if we hadn't offered to take them home whilst we tracked down someone with keys for the hut.
I have my own cement mixer and not afraid to use it!!

Certainly not OK

Remember that the sender is the one with the "contract" with the carrier not you and they should therefore send you some more

I use JBA because they explicitly don't ship in cold weather - assuming their policy hasn't changed.
