Bean info
« on: December 05, 2014, 21:07 »
Hi all.
I have been given some runner bean seeds called cederico or sederico not sure which ?
I have looked on various web sites but can find no information about them.
       Can anybody help.

I was puzzled by this but could not find any bean with the names you said.

However, I did find bean dishes by people with the names you specified.

Then I found Cederico as a tomato variety - check it out here:

Cedrico is some way down.

For convenience I have copied the relevant text here:

Tomato plants now available –

Varieties available:

Cederico F1

Could it be a slight mistake somewhere?

I have no doubt you have bean seeds in your hand. I just wondered if the variety was either mistaken or poorly documented on the google searches I did.

It may be that some bean expert will come along and sort us out - my particular flair is for fruit.

  it was obvious there had been some confusion!

I think they are Stenner runner beans  ;)

Good luck with the beans, and the Cederico toms ; )
