Hi there , yes that is one idea I have thought of . Maybe on the higher levels it could support maybe larger pots.

I think there are a number of solutions available. It will be interesting to see what I come up with during the sketching part of the project. At the moment I am just trying to justify the need. I was looking at some Mintel reports today and it seems that a product like this is what the industry needs to capture more of the potential market.

Found this a while ago a system of containers made from milk containers which is moveable

I've used small groups like this and they work well.

I've got a book about container gardening and there are all sorts of modular ideas in it so it would be worth you looking at something like that in the library

I grow my cucumbers in a set up like that

Link-a-bord (made by Armillatox in Derbyshire) is modular and made of recycled materials, retains heat too and comes in different colours

Thanks for that Link-a-bord looks great & is inexpensive which is important for me.

I have a small shared patch at rear of south facing flat  so mostly container grow but a lot of space is shaded most of day. Use old bins surplas when council brought in wheelies for compost and growing. Yep if it's frree I'll use it!
