Raspberry Questions

So I have been told a good time to plant raspberry canes is November?  Is this correct?

So when I buy 1 pot of 10 canes am I buying one plant of 10 canes or one plant to spilt into 10 canes.

If it is one pot of 10 canes how many do I need for a 5m row.

I hope this makes sense

just brought mine 2 weeks ago - planted them before all the rain 

instructions said plant them 18 inches apart and 5ft between rows so I guess they grow fairly big

anytime while they're dormant would be fine, i planted mine in march time and they still produced a small amount of fruit in the same year.

all i would say is it may be worth getting more than one variety so you don't get such a large glut of fruit.

if you don't want to buy so many plants just plant them with larger spaces and the runners will soon fill the spaces.

They spread, via suckers, so will fill-in between the originally planted canes after a season or two
So the original cane, itself, won't grow especially big

When I Planted mine I did not put any bonemill down with them wil thay be ok
