Leeks being eaten at the bottom end
« on: November 02, 2014, 16:51 »
Fellow Gardeners,

Some  of the white parts of my leeks, at the bottom, have been attacked by something and they are turning a bit mushy. Could this be slugs?

It sounds like either leek moth or allium leaf miner to me.  I have never known slugs eat leeks before.
