We're joining the polytunnel brigade.

As we take over the adjoining plot to ours at the end of the year, that gives us around 155m x 5m, so we've gone ahead and ordered a polytunnel. As we have a tunnel manufacturer only a few miles from us we decided to buy local.
It's a 3.2m x 4.57m (we're only allowed 15sq mts in size on our lotties). The supplier phoned yesterday and the delivery date is my retirement day.....spooky or what...

Just what we would like to do on our adjoining plot... which is somewhat over grown tbh but so far our manoeuvres have been unsuccessful (as yet

)

if you haven't already then get a roll of repair tape so you can patch up immediately, don't put it off as it will make it worse.

Will be building our PT once I get down that far (we have 2 allotments that together make about 20m x 80m).... I know a guy who owns a scaffolding company so I should be able to get some poles and I should be able to beg/~~steal~~/borrow polypipe so that just leaves the cover which will be about £80...

just a little piece of advice. you need to use the 60mm (ish) poly pipe.

i tried to skimp and use 32mm poly pipe, however i've had to add timber reinforcements as the pipe started to twist, sag and distort.

if you already have 32mm pipe to use and would like some pictures of how i made mine let me know and i'll attach some.
