OK so I have grown a fair few so what do I do now ? How can I keep them and what can I use them for ??

some people are like slinkys......they're really good for nothing, but they still bring a smile to your face as you push them down the stairs!!

I have a large pile on side in the kitchen waiting for me to pickle, it's nice to have them handy for pizza, sandwiches and the like.
This is about as much effort as I can be bothered with, the jars I did last year lasted about week.

I had loads too many to use up last year so cut them in quarters length-wise and left them on a tray lined with kitchen roll to thoroughly dry. Kept them in an airtight jar and they lasted until this season's ones are now ripe

Recently used a few in a cream of jalapeņo soup that was quite tasty. Simple one using a bulb of overwintered garlic and some leeks. Though I cut out the white interior, wanted the jalapeņo flavour more than the heat.
