I fried some with a tomato today, in a splash of Benenden Sauce, plus a few shakes of Italian Seasoning...

It wasn't that bad at all, and at least they had some sort of back-up flavouring;0)

I made Hugh Fernley Wotsits Courgette Polpette. Flippin gorgeous. Proper posh little canape type things.  Easy to make but right tasty little morsels. You can eat em as snacks with tomato ketchup to dip em in, or pile a load of em into a pitta with salad  :tongue2:

yup, after last year's accidental 10 plants  I thought I was cutting it a bit fine with just 3.... nope- fridge full already  :D

This year I was disappointed that only 3 of my 10 plants survived, now I feel lucky as we are awash with courgettes

We're reverted to an old favourite, which is sliced courgettes in a little olive oil, plenty of Italian seasoning and fresh garlic, and a generous coating of parmesan cheese, in the oven for about ten minutes max!

I can even think that they're a new idea after a dish like that..;0)

In fact, I may even brave the rain, grab a brolly, and go down there right now..:0[

...Perhaps not, there are several cwt of toms up here, which Mrs Growster has instructed me to have this evening..;0)

I'll swap you, we eat courgettes by the dozen. I could also do with some advice on how you went about it, please.

All gone now, I'm afraid, Kevin!

There are just two toms left from indoor ripening, and we're having those tomorrow! We always have far too many plants to start off with, in case blight comes on early. This year, it didn't!

The courgettes have all been frosted , so I'll be clearing that bed when the rain stops!
