Courgette cook book
« on: August 09, 2014, 11:17 »
Someone on here sent me a courgette cook book as an adobe file last year but I lost it when I replaced my computer - anyone got a copy or point me to a web site where I can download the book.

The way  my two courgette plants are producing we won't be eating any until that 'special' dinner later in the year.  If we could eat the leaves we would be laughing, not one flower or courgette yet. ::)

I've just finished cooking a batch of ratouille to use up 7 or 8 courgettes & all the beans I picked last weekend & forgot to process. I was a tad worried using all the Cs in case there are no more but the way my 6 plants have been producing I don't think that will be a problem

But I also can highly recommend courgette crisps from the dehydrator. They are incredible, and use so much courgette... :D

That's the book thanks Surbie

Can you do the same by putting in the oven?

I tried them in the oven, the website I found recommended a couple of hours at a low temperature. They were ok, but I think would have been better from a dehydrator...i flavoured some with salt and some with chilli flakes.
