Hi,
I'm new to this forum and found you all during my search for a new bramble that has appeared in my garden.

On an old thread from 2012 it was identified as the Rubus laciniatus, or the cutleaf evergreen blackberry but there was confusion because it did have thorns.

I have the same plant and it also has thorns. It is not in an very good location, far too shady and difficult to reach but has a good amount of fruit forming.

I already grow many varieties of similar berry fruit but this one looks very interesting and it's leaves are unusual and attractive.

I wonder if anyone did find the correct thorned variety and whether it proved worth saving. I am thinking of propagating it but don't want to do so if it has proved not to be worthwhile.

Any help will be much appreciated.
Than you, Mo
