Weird noise

Hello folkes
One of my chooks is making a weird noise. In all the time I've had them they've been very quiet but now Mother Hen (the mum to the 2 youngsters) is walking round making a seagull kind of noise. Its different to her alarm sound but she does seem to be a bit agitated.
She's not laying at the mo and I'm hoping shes coming into lay and not going mad!
Anyone know what could be causing her squawkiness?

She might be getting ready to come into lay again, my little rock got very funny and agitated for a few days just before she started, just a thought :?

My Dora does that sometimes but it's usually her ''look I laid an egg'' thing

Thanks for your replies, I think she may be thinking about laying and I can hardly contain my excitement!

She also has "gone off" her two offspring which is understandable as they must be atleast 20+ weeks and she been looking after them up until now.
They used to go round all together now she's definitely on her own. She's still making the weird noise and nowts happened yet :?
