Dwarf okra
« on: July 16, 2014, 09:00 »
I looked at earlier threads which told me that okra are troublesome to grow.  I ignored the advice and sowed 2 Pure Luck.   One died.   One survived the transplant to the polytunnel.

It has now produced 2 fruit and appears to be aiming for more.  I count this as a modest triumph for a first attempt.

The weird thing is the plant is still only 6 inches high, instead of the expected 3 feet.   Or is Pure Luck a miniature variety?

I will try again next year, but with more plants.
