weve just been to the plot and have bought back our lovely pumpkin as neighbour said he'd seen local kids hanging around perimiter fencing and we didnt want it pinched before halloween.any ideas on best place to store it until then.
 by the way ive posted a picture on the photo album for you all to look at,try to ignore my dirty little rugrats :lol:

Somewhere coolish, light, airy and dry - I've just popped my baby giant on the windowsill but he has turned out to be overgrown marrow shaped, so he just about fits.  Having seen your pic I suspect you may not have a wide enough window sill - have you got a conservatory?

no we do not have a consevatory but we have a small room which may do he trick.just weighed it ealier and its 62lb :shock:

thanks john,although weve only had plot since april weve had almost 100%sucess wth the exeption of parsnips.its very wormy soil so i guess its healthy enough
