When to sow Japanese Onions

When is it best to sow Japanese onion seeds, please?

Specially bred for sowing mid-late August to mature in the following July. Not suitable for spring sowing.

Yep the Forum is converting the   "+"s in the URL to spaces which in turn get converted to "%20"  . . .  so I simply created a short link to the original Suttons page on my URL Shortener.
