Frisée lettuce - what's the finest?

I quite like frisée but Mr Snoop finds it bitter. So I'm going to blanch it to deal with that. But to fool him (I'm a meany), I was thinking about getting a very fine-leaved variety. I've seen a few (Glory and Maraichere) as well as a couple of ones grown here that claim to be fine, but I've never grown them so I have no idea if they really are as good as suggested.
