Hi All,
I have been given a quantity of fertiliser with an NPK of 14:10:27 .
What plants, Veg, Flowers and Fruit would this be good for?
Thanks

It looks as though it is one I have used in the past, mine was a Fuchsia mix, brilliant for flowers, the N may be a bit too high for toms, as for other veg, don't know

The highest content is potassium (K for Kalium), followed by Nitrogen (for leafy plants), then Phosphorus (for roots). It seems more like a flower feed whether that's for ornamentals or flowering veg like toms, peas, beans etc.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

Potassium is for fruits and flowers.  Your squashes will like this mix  :)

I teach the kids at work about NPK by getting them to remember it as shoots, roots and fruits  :)

Any more of this nonsense and I shall dust off the NPK song for you to learn  ::)  Growster and Mrs G have the dance sorted, so full instructions on the steps can be supplied  :nowink:

Well I never saw a video, but prancing round the kitchen was mentioned   :D

Warning - this thread contains extreme silliness and cannot be recommended as suitable reading for proper grown-up people  ;)  That probably makes it perfick for a hot summer evening

Ha ha ha - I'd forgotten about THAT dance!

NPK, NPK, what did you do on the Patch today...

Mrs Growster's drawing of what they all do has mysteriously vanished, so I'll have to unearth the crayons for her to colour another one!

Ahem, I think - for me - there's one very good reason why that wouldn't be the case..;0)
