Cabbage seedlings too large to transplant?

 
Cabbage seedlings too large to transplant?  Is there an upper limit to the size at which cabbages can be transplanted and thrive.  Came back from holiday to find they had grown larger than I would have thought!

Well, they aren't picking up after the transplant, I may trim off a few of the larger leaves to reduce transpiration.
