2 tomatoes, 3 peppers.

I agree.  That's either toms or peppers - not all in one growbag.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

It will be a struggle to keep ore plants watered evenly throughout the season. Any more than two or three tom plants will be drying out daily, which can lead to split fruit etc.
if you have to use grow bags I'd cut them in half and stand each half up like a deep pot. Toms will appreciate the extr depth and won't dry out so quick.
Plus, I like to give a couple of feet between plants to give good air circulation. Any more than two per bag would make good spacing difficult. I'm sure others grow three with no problem though.

There really isn't that much compost in a growbag.

father in law  used to grow strawberries commercially hydroponically with no soil at all, so if the plant is given enough nutrients and feed whats the problem with say six or 8 per bag

Split the bag and put the plants in pots, space them out and stake them, if that's what you want to do.

The plants will be too close to be healthy if you plant them all together in a growbag. Even in commercial greenhouses they are spaced to allow sufficient airflow around the plants to minimise disease.

I halve the bags and stand them on end to grow one plant in each end. That way you can plant them deeper than lying the bags down, you can actually get more plants in the same space (if you want) and the final benefit is that a stronger plants roots won't dominate the bag with two plants in it.

As a final tweak, I put pots with the bases cut out at the top and stick the top of the bag round it with ducktape. That way the bag doesn't fold over and make it difficult to water.
