yes and the petticoat/ curtain nets are much lighter to handle too.

am using cheapo Ikea nets (2 curtains 3mx3m) for £5 again this year- they are fine woven.  I found the debris-netting shade (mines green) was making the slugs even worse.

That's interesting. I find that once I have eradicated the slugs in a bed (mine are edged rather than raised) then having netting actually keeps them out as they can't get in and I have the green debris netting. I have to go to ikea soon to pick up some wedding bits so will add curtains to the list as well!
