Acidifying Rhododendron Soil
« on: May 27, 2014, 08:25 »
Hi all,
My parents recently bought a rhododendron plant from the garden centre but potted it up in normal compost and its not looking too healthy.
is there an easy way i can make the compost more ericaceous and more suitable for the plant? (unfortunately dont have a soil ph tester though)
Or am i going to have to buy some and repot it?
Thanks.

This might help. http://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/profile?PID=82

Re-potting is probably easier.
