dammit    white rot on my autum planted onions..2 rows of them..but the next rows are spring planted an they look fine..is the in the bulb or ground..must be the bulb as the spring planted ones are fine

Not all rots on onions are white rot, which is also generally soil borne.

What size are the autumn ones? Can you get them out and perhaps chop / freeze the non-rotten bits?
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
