I watched the 2nd of the HFW programs and I think I found this chick hatching video even more shocking, if not surprising. It puts the 'chicks being dropped out the boxes' in the program into perspective.

It seems we have even mechanised the birth of new life.

I wonder if anyone knows whether free-range chicks are manufactured in the same manner?
