Tomato flowering!
« on: May 11, 2014, 09:11 »
My gardeners delight is only a foot tall and has just started flowering, should I leave it to get on, should I remove the flowers, is it ok?? Sorry so many tomato related questions!! On a positive note picked my first sugar snaps from outside on Friday!

If it's inside a greenhouse which won't let the frost in, then well done, you're in the lead!

Leave the flowers on, as that's exactly what they should be doing at that height!

Well done that person - and also congrats on the sugar-snaps too!

My Shirley's are doing the same. Leaving then to it and looking forward to the toms. :D

I have three cherry something or others also flowering. Each is a different variety and all still in relatively small pots  poor things. What I need to do is move them into their growing positions as they are not all that tall and obviously keen to get on with it despite being in a shady greenhouse.

Good luck Anadd83 - sounds as if yours are off to a flying flowering start.  ;)
