Fruit bush for ID

No, looks like a bramble. Is it in flower now?

It does look like a blackberry. Mine are beginning to flower now too, which is very early, but they will be fine

It looks like a blackberry/bramble of some kind.   

Try taking a look at Rubus Caesius (the European dewberry).  They grow wild on the sand dunes around here, and are lower and smaller than a blackberry.   The fruits have a lot fewer segments to them than a blackberry, often just 3 or 4,  but each segment is much larger and more purple. When the other segments have been eaten by birds or mice, the last remaining segment could look like a single blackcurrant.

Definitely not blackcurrant leaves or flowers so not blackcurrant. If it's not a bramble my guess would be some sort of hybrid berry as many rubus will cross pollinate.
