Old pumpkin seeds

We all know about old seed and some will germinate successfully and others a waste of time.  This year i bought all new Courgette and Butternut squash seeds.  I had no intention this of growing pumpkins, but having entered the pumpkin challenge, I thought hey ho give it a go.  The only seeds I had in my seed box where 4 year old ones I got from Wilko's for a givaway price of 2p.  All seeds sown 10 days ago, if the pumpkins don't show my plan was to buy some new seeds.  Last night I checked the seeds and ooooooeeeee the pumpkin seeds had all germinated with no sign of anything else.  Bargin four plant for 29 and a bit of tlc.
