This egg is 100g in weight, 25g heavier than my double yorkers, is it possible to get a triple yokers?

yes it is but please don't wish for many of them because giant eggs can lead to a prolapse

Yes, I have only seen one though, it was laid by my Bramha hen, it was big and she made a row when she laid it, didnt want me to take it

(I think she was proud of the size of it) but she never laid for 3 days after

I regularly got 100 g eggs from one of our hens as she got older. She used to lay about four a week when she was six. Only single yolks though.

She was a right character and I was very sad when her end came.

I never got it, my grand daughter did, as it was boiled, she thought I had played a joke on her

I never did weigh or photograph it, I know I should have done

We have had a triple yolker but the doubles and sometimes triples seem to be after around their first week or so of laying.

The most every recorded I think was 9! ouch, but the biggest egg my chickens laid was 125g, but it was still only a double yolker!

I've never had a triple but the size of some of the doubles!!! ...ouch I bet that made the eyes water

I did once get a 4-yolker but I didn't take a photo of it.

I used to regularly get double yolkers when the girls were young and just getting started laying.  I also used to regularly get eggs upto 125g which was a bit eye watering.

Going back to "medium" 53g eggs from the supermarket was a bit of a shock to the system when I hadbecome used to "normal" 75g eggs!
