Oh I see, well if you are happy with the wysiwyggy sub-categories on raspberry, I might get around to adding some more fruits.

My tomatoes plants have been out all winter. SHould I have put them in pots? They are in a planter at the moment and the plants still look alive.

I heard that you should cut them down to the crowns is this right?
I don't have a drink problem. I drink, I get drunk, I pass out. No Problem.

I bought some bare rooted strawbs in mid december, I poted up stright away now they are sitting in a cool g/house in a bit of shade. They will go into proposed strawb bed in April.
I used to work in a helium gas factory, but I walked out, no one talks to me like that.

I haven't got a clue re strawbs, but on Boxing Day I was digging up some runners that weren't really accessable until now, managed to get six, so stuck them in pots in the greenhouse.  Haven't a clue where they came from as strawbs haven't been grown nearby for 15+ years.

Better to give them half a chance than none.

As per the title when should I order my strawberry plants?
Most catalogues have them ready now but most sites say plant in April!
What is the correct time?

I planted my strawbs from runners in september. I think the trick is to get them established then they can cope with nearly everything. My plot had a grass temp of -9 a little while ago, and the frost killed only one or two leaves.
You don't want the last frosts attacking a newly transplanted plant, so, if it was me, I'd get them for late March/April because that'sw when the last frosts are here.

Cudders, the thing is you cannot have an effect on when they are sent unless from a small nursery, you order and they send it when they get to your order, if you leave it too late, you might miss out.

They ship from Nov till April, which is all good time to plant. You are over-worrying this, as I said earlier, it does not matter much.

Also I bought some strawb last year in summer from a garden centre and planted up, Junish, I think. Produced a fortune of berries. 8)
