is this normal new chicks havent moved since i got them about 4 hrs ago!

Hopefully they will be girls, but I'm going to bet you have two boys and a girl.

The black leakage on the primary wing feathers of the two you can see side on - I think they are the boys.  Light sussex hens have very little black at all, and it usually doesn't show until they are quit a bit older.

Having said that, you will soon know, as the boys tend to grow a comb lot quicker than the girls.  This was my LS at 7 weeks-ish

thanks casey was tempted to get pol but wanted to get youngsters so they could grow up together as the ones they will be with are bantams and they are large. my one  i hatched eight weeks old on  fri has a small comb and wattles so im hoping that ones a girl. there terrible to sex! if there boys i will be on to the breeder asap to swap them x
