Hi beginning of a New Year and sorting out breeding trios for the spring To date I have 3 black orpy banties (the 3 who always go broody together!) one lavender pekin cockerel, 2 Salmon Fav cockerels, x6 Large Samon Fav hens, 1 bantam salmon fav hen,-(she is a super mum) 1 gorgeous but ?gay black cochin cockerel, 1 large buff orpington hen, 2 cross sussex hens, 2 speckledys  and finally Romeo black orpy/pekin boy!!Phew that makes 20!!!! Will have 2 lots of breeding trios set up soon so lots of chicks in the spring.
So what do you all have?

i have two polands, elvis and popcorn. a frizzle bantam, fraggle. a warren called chicken. a hamburg called rainbow. the two new girls cream legbars, poppy and tulip. so currently 7

im have a couple of grannie annies amberlinks.

and i have 3 eggies in the incubator called eggy 1, eggy 2 and eggy 3.

ooooh its all so exciting. the incubator is so much fun.... just 3 weeks is too long to make anyone wait. im thinking i may need to get another and set it so i have to wait just 15. so impatient

I'm so envious of the people who have space for lots of chooks (I mean more than 2  :cry: )

I can only squeeze 2 into my garden but they are much loved pets.

1 leghorn cross
1 buff rock
4 black wyandottes

soon to add some cream legbars hopefully

Just got the 3.  Like Aunt Sally can't have any more because of limited space.  We've got mother hen and 2 daughters all light sussex bantams.  My grand plan is to donate 1 of my hens to my sister then when/if one of my girls goes broody, hatch some eggs of a different breed and keep a girl.  The kids will love it!   Ok so will I!

As of today I have 61 Oxford Old English Game Fowl. I'll be doing swoppseys at the show next weekend which should or could see me reduce numbers by four or five.
Please don't tell Kaz how many I have, she still thinks I only have five but that they like to live in diferent sheds every week. :oops:  :oops:  :oops:
