That is a stunning piccie Tosca.  What a beautiful sight, but I hope it doesn't mean more snow for you.  You seem to have plenty   ;)

I'm wide awake - did try sleeping but gave up - slowly recovering from op on 31st Dec so sleep pattern hopeless.

Get well soon Paul  :)  I hope this year does give you a bit more of a break to enjoy your garden and your veg growing  :)

Thank you. A bit like the veg patch - feeling rather sodden at the moment but the pain is reduced and I'm back to being a carer on Tuesday.

The op was not a success so I have another date for a retry... just need to juggle everything to be there. Not sure how that will work so I guess I will be back to early mornings / late nights wide awake thinking about it. :(

Ouch - not the best of news but good luck with it second time around. Hope your recovery is swift  :)
I had my first lie-in of the week today but back to early starts tomorrow strainght through until Wednesday :(
My fault - I write the off duty!!  ???

Morning from BG. And we have more snow. Only a dusting and warmer temperatures so hopefully the sheet ice will start thawing. Should have had me peas and broad beans in by now!

I am up, fed and watered and now ready for a few hours on the plot before it gets too hot.

What happened to all of you early birds? Are you sleeping in these days?

Good for you if you are!! :)

Despite my change of circumstances and improved health I am still often wide awake at 3 in the morning. Years and years of a strange sleeping pattern is so hard to change but I'm working on it.

Hope you are all keeping well and enjoying the summer. (I prefer cool evenings to belting about in the morning)
