I read somewhere once and it may have been in one of JH's books about sowing.  That it's one job you really should not put off.  The seed will never get back the day that you delayed.

Nor me - think that it is still too cold for some seeds. Well that is my excuse and I am sticking to it. 

Morning all - the sun is shining but it is very cold - we had quite a hard frost this morning. Plans are to finish off tidying the greenhouse.

Morning Gang, awake on and off all night, what with Mrs C and her ventilator and me getting dry every 1.5 - 2 hours during the night at the last time I woke up at 5:30, I decided to come down to my room and have a coffee. Wireless temperature gauge informs me that the greenhouse is a healthy 2.4 degrees C so no frost out there last night it would appear.

Up early and watching the birds on the window feeders with a coffee - the parakeets are doing slow acrobatics and are very funny. There are some starlings and robins waiting for them to leave in the tree next to the block.

Lovely morning. Feels so much better than winter!

Morning all, flipping dog woke me up at 6.30 with a barking frenzie cos she heard another dog barking outside. Frightened the living day lights out me.

Belated good morning to all. The sun is out and a trip to market revealed shrubs in leaf, fields gone green and people looking happier. Got some stuff to make chutney, beef tomatoes still rather expensive at nearly a quid a kilo  Three ex-commercials (hens) to replace a couple of ex-bats that faded, these ones in good condition but refusing to come out of the duck house into daylight. One of our old hens is complaining loudly as she can't get in and she likes that shed as her own, special laying shed....but she has already laid!

Morning,not very early really but as I've not checked in for a while. Bit of shopping to do for Mother's Day lunch tomorrow then if the weathers favourable I might continue tidy the garden
