@LotuSeed - I did see your reply but got pulled away - and I wanted to do your post justice!

Yes, indeedy! There's an amazing amount of scope within photography - although just now I'm concentrating on what I can do with what I've got first - mainly due to low funds. Plus I think it's a great way to start by maxing out what I've got then I will know what I need rather than want. I think I could get overwhelmed if I had too much gear - literally!

A job may be in the offering as a local farmhand - imagine the scope of possibilities there! My camera shall always be in my car ready to take out on my lunch break and after work!

Ultimately, I'd actually love to be a Wedding photographer. On another forum I'm being told of the nightmares of dealing with specific types of brides ... and their mothers! I better grow another skin!

I would imagine that's the hardest photographer to be Kevin :)
Weddings cause much stress and fretfulness and the need for complete perfection! :D

DVB - You're not wrong! Perfection does appeal to the ocd part of me which I try to manage. Aim High is what I say. However, brides to be will be told and shown my skill level so nobody is fooled.

Yeah I wouldn't touch wedding photography with a 10 foot pole lol. People can get downright hostile at weddings and the stress would take all the enjoyment out of it for me  :tongue2:  As it can be difficult to get started initially, have you thought about being a second shooter? You could learn a lot and it would help you to build a portfolio.

I have asked and the reply I get is one of fear that a second shooter might get the subsequent business instead of the main 'tog. In these economic times I can well sympathise with that.

For reasons I won't go into here, my life revolves around the deeper end of poverty and to build up experience I am offering people who couldn't afford a 'tog to have their event recorded. Small steps!

Morning I heard a few birds chirping but don't know what they were.
A woman's place is in her garden.

Have you still not had your heating fixed?  Blimey, how dreadful. Is there a shortage of good central heating engineers in Devon.

A friend of mine who has which magazine, has access to the which list of recommended builders etc.
It might be worth asking to see if anyone on the forum has this and could give you the details of some in your area.

It is miserable being cold and having no hot water.

There's no shortage Mrs Bee, just no-one returned my calls initially  :( Then when Ben got hold of someone he did a cr@p bodge which cost us £60 :(
Now we've found someone we trust, we've managed to get the money this morning so hopefully next couple of weeks we can get it done :)
