Good morning all, up at the usual time of 5.30 as it's of to work at 7am, volunteered to work an extra shift today to boost the 'holiday fund'.  Only two weeks to go and then we are off!

While weeding round the tomatoes found that two varieties are ripening, a cherry and a beefsteak. More worryingly there are a few rotting at the very bottom where they have been constantly splashed with mud. Hoping it's nothing more sinister. :(

Morning all, can't sleep with all the excitement of the past few days. Got plans running through my head like a motorway. Will probably make a start on the weeds that are on the new plot next to us today  :)

Went out early to do a bit of weeding as usual, came in gasping for coffee....no leccy! So sat and podded a mountain of borlotti beans to freeze for those times when you forget to soak. Lovely breeze today, we don't often get wind here.

Right, a washing up bowl full of parsley beckons.....
