morning all, got some phoning to due this morning so will not be out and about so early.
heavy rain forecast for tomorrow my garage /workshop will get tidied out at last

If it pours I'll be in the garage too (different garage..... ::)). I have a wheelbarrow full of daff bulbs that need to be tied and hung up away from the squirrels who were busy grabbing them this afternoon and running into the bushes to replant them where I didn't want them.

Never keep your wish-bone where your back-bone ought to be.

Bad start to the day. Two dead chicks, the last of the four parent reared, all gone within a week, one to predation, one to fade out and these two who were looking good and strong and very active yesterday. Very sad and possibly down to the very wet but warm weather. :(
Onward and upward.............

Sorry to hear about your chicks Tosca :(, that's a blow for you. I was awake at 6 but quite happy to stay put until time to get up for work this morning :D

Thanks Snowdrops. Such a blow when they were doing so well and were cheerful when they went to bed.

Good morning all you early risers.  :) A bit of a chilly morning so far but lovely and quiet at this time of the morning. (Apart from the odd fox screech)

I've, unintentionally, spent the last few hours reading through my old allotment diaries... I'm so pleased I kept them - helps me remember all the goings on over the last few years.... many of them nothing to do with the Lottie.  ::)

Here's hoping the day doesn't start too early for you and when it does may the sun shine warmly on you. ;)

Sorry to read of your bad news Tosca... hope you have better results next-time.

We are starting to forget what sunshine is! In January we were eating in the garden. Now we have rain every day. Good job we didn't move here for the weather!

Morning all. :D
