Morning all I too am still snuggled up in bed with my Westie curled up beside me. Peace and harmony are due to be shaken up later today when we bring a 10 week old Cairn pup home. Now do I get up or stay a while longer decisions decisions.
Here's a photo of new pup who we have named Olga

Temps have dropped here and we're expecting snow. Likely just a light dusting if anything at all but hoping there's enough to stick as I would love to get some winter scene shots!
Avg Last Frost Date, April 9, Avg First Frost Date, Oct 26
Avg Growing Season, 200 days

When I moved Oop Norf in 1984 we had proper winters - brrr! Proper, proper cold! In fact, it was so cold I couldn't use the cold water tap when brushing my teeth! I'd love to have a good, old winter again!

My Grandmother grew up in Iowa; a state that has REAL winter weather, as in very cold and very snowy. I can't even begin to image living in a house with only a potbelly stove to keep warm! ❄️

Blast, just deleted a long post! Anyway, we are having a lovely bitterly cold time here in Bulgaria Kevin, with dry sunny and very pleasant days and night temperatures up to -8...almost t-shirt weather! Haha But it will only be for two months rather than a miserable six months. The days are invigorating and the fire stoked, but we can't get out because the roads are still lethal from boxing day, sheet ice which thaws slightly in the sun. Contrary to popular belief, countries used to this weather don't manage better, they just don't travel and winter tyres and chains are compulsary if you do. Most citizens live near work, not many have two hour commutes here. The snow and rain has caused major problems with landslides, weeks of no power, massive lines of cars caught out in the snow and drivers trying to keep warm while help arrives,,,eventually, and collapsed roads making slushy motorways and cancelled trains look tame.

We are the lucky ones.

If you do ctrl-z immediately, it often brings it back.

Give it a go! Type some text, delete and then ctrl-z.

Ctrl-z is Undo in Windows. In this case you are undo-ing your deletion.

In the early days of computers I remember formatting disks that had really important stuff on them - how my heart sank into my shoes... (early days enough not to have had recovery software then!).

Can't do that on my mobile phone. Once you hit back there's no going forward again >:(
On the lappy it's easy to retrieve  ;) ;)
