Morning!

Christmas happens here in 10 hours -  :D

7 more presents to wrap, red cabbage to braise and 2 more sets of biscuits to bake and then I am there...though Mum's new oven is not playing, so everything might be transported to here...

Thank you Roger and Tosca - machine still not fixed. We need a special screwdriver to get at the pump and are collecting one today. If that does not work, no helpy with dishes, no Christmas dinner.

Nothing like a little wine when the sun goes down Snowy - about 4.20 here at present - I will raise a glass to all the early risers. Happy Christmas to you all.

Good morning and Happy Christmas everyone....... good to see you are all still chatting while I've been away.

Christmas mornig will be just like any other for me.. the usual routine then a break for a few hours. I feel very much like curling up in bed with or without a book and drifting off to sleep for the day but I guess that wont be a popular choice.

However you spend your day I wish you a good one.

Made another three dozen shortbread for next door, OH cuttung out flowers and leaves for decorating. Now on the mince pies. two dozen made, another dozen to go.

Shortbread a bit strange, could only get maize flour rather than starch, but nice all the same.
