Well I have been up since 5 but have been hijacked.
Not even had a cuppa. Call from son who needs dad to help move furniture 'cos he can't because of his operation. He has the plumber in to fix his boiler so needs stuff moved.
I had a quick gather of their washing to go. No washing machine because of the boiler.
Finished washing up and clearing away of the plates and dishes from yesterday, Cracked 3 plates.
Realised I hadn't picked up my repeat prescription and was out of the pills I have to take on an empty tum, so breakfast was put back.
Tried to find the name of the manager of the hospital and hospital trust on line so I can start my letters of outrage and upset, in the hope that no one else would have to go through what my son did. No joy there.
Took out the three plates that I managed to crack while unloading the dishwasher, to the bin.
Went to look at my newly planted tubs only to find that something had been digging the pansies up. Did a quick replant, cursing the squirrel/fox and came back in.
:mad:Took shoes off as they were wet from the front garden.
Tried phoning the patient advice and liaison number for the information that I wanted, got a recorded message that they were experiencing high volumes of calls leave a message and they will get back to me in 2 days.
Mr Bee arrives back from son and chemist, calls from the front door, ' Can you come to the door dear'. Oh gawd what now.
Apparently unbeknown to me it was a fox that had dug up the pots because I managed to step in a dollop of fox dodo and had walked it on the mat and along the corridor. Thank heavens I kicked them off before I went too far. SO then I cleaned and disinfected shoes, took stinking mats out to the back garden, washed the step and path, and the hallway and kitchen floor.
Actually I couldn't have missed stepping in the fox dodo as there were 4 large piles round the pot, one in front of the bedroom window, three more lots in the back garden, 4 more holes one with my leather BBQ gauntlet that had gone missing half buried.
So what next I ask myself. Hope your day is going better than mine.
