Long Carrots
« on: March 10, 2014, 15:43 »
I am wanting to have a go at growing long carrots. I have heard red intermediate are the best variety but I can't seem to get hold of any seed. I have ordered though exhibition seeds over a month ago and as of yet not recieved them. Can anyone advise where I can get them?
Thanks  :)

New red intermediate are the only carrot worth growing for showing. Medwyns of Anglesea are a very good company to use. I've always found them more than helpful.
Sweet candle, as mentioned before, is a stump rooted variety, therefore no good for the long classes. Hope this helps.
